My yoga journey begins with a gift, a one year unlimited yoga sessions as a Christmas gift from my husband. A gift that I am grateful for and a gift that allow me today to share with you the blessings of yoga!
I am sure you can relate, working long hours, traveling, living out of a suitcase can be extremely demanding physically and emotionally. As a flight attendant, I was constantly fighting to find balance and maintain a perfect body image. I also struggled to overcome fatigue syndrome, stress and exhaustion.
Yoga has been the grounding force that has guided me through a happily chaotic and hectic life. Through my consistent and diligent practice over the years, I discovered yoga isn’t about accomplishing complicated poses on my mat, standing on my head, or standing upside down on my hands, - Yoga is about the journey, a journey towards inner light, inner awareness and self transformation. Yoga is about applying what you learn on your mat and apply it off the mat. Yoga is a seed that you plant as you move through life’s challenges and allow it to grow and guide you towards the light. Be it about relationship, job, parenting, fitness or illness, yoga has something to offer.
Just like Yoga Master BKS Iyengar’s quote “yoga is beyond words, the value can only be experienced.“ My journey of yoga unfolded and evolved as I made my footprints around the world over the latter part of my two and a half decades with an international airlines based in Dubai. Yoga was my travel companion, my home away from home. As I was fortunate to have the opportunity to practice with many wonderful teachers around the world, the practice of yoga and all the teachers that crossed my path has inspired me and taught me invaluable life lessons. It teaches me how to be soft yet determined, how to be strong yet flexible, disciplined but not rigid, bend but not break. Yoga also teaches me how to thrive and survive in the sea of life with grace and acceptance.

Vinyasa Yoga is a style of yoga that focuses on the power of breathing and flowing movement through a series of poses. In Vinyasa flow Yoga class, you are expected to move and breathe smoothly through one pose to another. It is almost like a form of flowing meditation. You are expected to sweat and revitalize your body; you are also encouraged to cultivate the breathing that calms the mind as you move through the poses. My goal as a teacher is to empower you to embrace your inner journey with focus on awareness during the practice as well as finding the balance that ultimately helps to ground you physically, mentally and emotionally by connecting with your breath. My class will allow you to explore and discover this journey in the present moment, one breath at a time!
